How to Prompt

Prompts should be one prompt per comment, formatted in this way: fandom, character(s), prompt word/sentence

Example: Star Wars, Obi-Wan Kenobi, I don't like sand

Prompts may also be open ended, unspecific, or anthropomorphic, such as:

any, any, I don't like sand
or
Earth geography, sand, I don't like humans very much, either

Prompts for relationships are welcome; a / is used for romantic/sexual relationships and an & for platonic. A prompt that uses both means the relationship can be written as either romantic or platonic, such as:

Star Wars, Anakin/&Obi-Wan, I don't like sand

Prompts may be repeated if they are unfilled; there is no obligation to read through every prompt to make sure yours isn't a repeat. This year's 3SF will stay open for new prompts through Sunday, February 12th.

How to Fill

Respond to your chosen prompt with a short fic of three sentences containing the fandom & characters requested!

Prompts can be filled more than once, as many times as someone has a new idea for them.

No, fills do not need to be exactly three sentences! It's more of a guideline. Please abuse grammar and punctuation as much as desired.

3SF is a Choose Not to Warn space. Spoiler and content warnings are not required, though writers are free to add them if they please. If you see something you don't like, just scroll until you do!

A Dreamwidth account is not needed to participate. Anonymous prompts/fills are welcome, or you can use Open ID.

any, any, soulmate goose of enforcement

Knives Out: Glass Onion, Benoit Blanc/Phillip

Benoit Blanc liked to think that he was adaptable in any given situation, but being herded by a damned soulmate goose biting at his ankle until he was in front of his number one suspect (who was currently being pummeled by his own goose) was beyond the pale.

Phillip's eyes blew wide on spotting who was on the other end of his goose, and there might or might not have been a faint "bloody hell."

"This is more problematic than a three-legged dog on a tightrope," Benoit agreed with a sigh.

Herbert vs. Agnes (Tiger & Bunny)

Herbert eyed the colourful group, and then his summoners, very displeased; he hated frigging NEXT, damn it - he'd been frozen, flambéed, electrocuted, doused in cold water, flung through the air, bruised his beak on apparently invulnerable human, and bitten by a crazed lizard who had ripped out half his flight feathers. He was done with this-

"Go on! This one's not even a NEXT!"

Herbert cocked his head, then eyed the group again, swiftly finding the woman his summoners were indicating, standing by the NEXT and tapping her heel impatiently. How bad could it be, then?

He knew of the goose of, everyone did, it’s existence was one of the most hotly debated topics among lonely singles, not that he’d consider himself one, but Percy knew better than to question the goose.

It led him through crowds of people before coming to stop in front of a triclops witch named Boscha, who was sporting a loom of dread to match Percy’s.

“You’ve got to be kidding me.” The pair said in unison.

Hollywood U: rising stars, Thomas Hunt/F!MC, Troublemaker geese

Thomas had to get rid of that pesky goose. He already knew whom that goose was leading him to. He hadn't been able to get her off of his mind ever since that masquerade ball. Convincing her that he didn't really have feelings for her had been a difficult, but necessary task and he wasn't about to let that annoying goose ruin everything.

But there she came, chased by another pesky goose. Thomas sighed. After all the trouble, now he couldn't lie anymore.

But he was starting to wonder if he really wanted to keep his distance and seeing her walk away last time had been very painful. Maybe he should really take a chance on them despite the risks.

Gargoyles, Gen, Alex vs. the Soulmate Flock of Enforcement

Elisa took two steps into the castle and stopped still—the entire clan was running through the atrium and shouting, while they were being chased by...a flock of angry geese?

She'd seen a lot of weird stuff over the years, but this absolutely took the cake. "What the hell is going on?"

"Alexander!" Goliath shouted—whether that was accusation or explanation, Elisa had no idea.

"I was just trying to summon a soulmate guide for me!" Alex came running out into the atrium. "Sorry, sorry, I'll fix it, I swear I'll—"

He waved his hand and muttered a spell, and then...

A new goose materialized out of thin air right in front of Elisa. "HONK!"

Alex groaned. "Not again."

Once Upon a Time, Rumple/Belle

"All right, all right, leave me alone, I'm going," Mr. Gold muttered as the goose nipped at his shoes. He managed to slip inside the library quickly enough to shut the annoying fowl outside, and smoothed down his vest and straightened his cufflinks before approaching Belle at the desk. He'd admit his feelings and smooth over their latest little tiff, but after this he and Regina were going to have words about that damn bird.

Paradise Lost: Adam/Eve

Before her outstretched hand could

As the moon overhead rose and watched the original lovers
Rediscover their bond, the animals, no longer bound to
Obey a master, called and caterwalled a cacaphony,
Within which neither Adam nor Eve commented on
The familiar honking.
