"Not much to light your way, to guide you to me . . . or safely away." Madara murmured as he looked out over the compound walls in the stark black of the night, fingertips trailing over the fine bones of Tobirama's big hands where they rested on his ribs.
Tobirama nuzzled his neck, holding him closer, and Madara leaned into him with a soft sigh. "The moon and the stars," Tobirama pointed out, his voice low, and Madara tilted his head to invite more kisses, "more than enough . . . for a man not accustomed to bringing the blazing light of his own sun where e'er he goes." he teased gently, and Madara strangled his laugh to something quiet enough not to draw attention.
