This post will remain open for new prompts until we hit 4000 comments, at which point we'll open a new one to avoid captcha as long as possible. New fills and comments on fills will always be welcome.


How to Prompt

Prompts should be one prompt per comment, formatted in this way: fandom, character(s), prompt word/sentence

Example: Star Wars, Obi-Wan Kenobi, I don't like sand

Prompts may also be open ended, unspecific, or anthropomorphic, such as:

any, any, I don't like sand
or
Earth geography, sand, I don't like humans very much, either

Prompts for relationships are welcome; a / is used for romantic/sexual relationships and an & for platonic. A prompt that uses both means the relationship can be written as either romantic or platonic, such as:

Star Wars, Anakin/&Obi-Wan, I don't like sand

Prompts may be repeated if they are unfilled; there is no obligation to read through every prompt to make sure yours isn't a repeat. This year's 3SF will stay open for new prompts through Sunday, February 12th.

How to Fill

Respond to your chosen prompt with a short fic of three sentences containing the fandom & characters requested!

Prompts can be filled more than once, as many times as someone has a new idea for them.

Notes & Rules

No, fills do not need to be exactly three sentences! It's more of a guideline. Please abuse grammar and punctuation as much as desired.

3SF is a Choose Not to Warn space. Spoiler and content warnings are not required, though writers are free to add them if they please. If you see something you don't like, just scroll until you do!

A Dreamwidth account is not needed to participate. Anonymous prompts/fills are welcome, or you can use Open ID.

Cross-posting is encouraged; there is a 3SF Collection on AO3 if you'd like to post fills there as well.

“There’s not even room for my sonic in here,” the Doctor went on, sticking her fingers as deep as they’d go - which was not very deep at all - into the pockets, as if to test them. “Let alone snacks. Snacks are very important, Yaz.”
She wriggled out of the trousers; Yaz felt her face grow hot as she awkwardly tried to look away. The Doctor yanked the offending item of clothing off and shoved them at Yaz. “You can have ‘em.”

Since they’d gotten together, he was just as gruff and growly as always, never showing his feelings.

They eventually realize that Eliot shows his happiness by protecting them, cooking for them, and by always being there.

A Conspiracy of Kittens (Greenwing & Dart)

The first batch of kittens, I was quite willing to accept as an accident -- Mr. Moo needed to dispose of them, I happened to be at hand, and he trusted I would find them good homes. That this involved holding up a coach in the middle of the Arguty Forest was merely a logical consequence of Mr. Moo's profession, for a man engaged in the wild lay is just as unlikely to come into town on an everyday basis as a respectable gentleman is to go tramping about in a forest notoriously filled with outlaws and other disreputable souls.

The second batch of kittens was somewhat more suspect, though again, it wasn't illogical for Mr. Moo to encounter me on the outskirts of the Arguty Manor grounds, nor for a highwayman to abscond with all the luggage in a fancy coach and only belatedly discover that one box contained a heavily pregnant cat wearing a collar set with diamonds (naturally he did not hand over the collar along with the cats), and I duly found this set of kittens good homes among my father's former military companions.

However, when Mr. Moo knocked on the door of Elderflower Books with a mewing, squirming satchel in his arms and had the cheek to grin at my astonished cry, I was certain that some new conspiracy was afoot.

Really, her conduct was quite out of bounds, even if there was something almost familiar about her (which he would dash himself as a fool for later, once Jo had stopped laughing); still, he frowned as he carefully stepped away from her, "My dear young woman--"

"Oh, I do like being your dear, and it's Missy," she replied before pulling a gun from within her umbrella and gesturing with it, "now, if you'd be so kind, I need to borrow a few things from your TARDIS."

People had been telling Asha that Theon was dead for years now, her mother with tears in her eyes and her father with the promise of her crown, but lately he just kept coming back. The first time it was with fancy clothes, an annoying smirk, and a stupid Northern accent, her shy brother long gone, and here he was again before her now, a ragged scarecrow with shattered teeth and madness in his eyes. They say what is dead can never die, rising up harder and stronger, but, as far as Asha could tell, Theon just came back wrong.
