2023 Three Sentence Ficathon - Post #1
Welcome to the 2023 Three Sentence Ficathon!
As of 16 Jan 2023 this post is NOW CLOSED TO NEW PROMPTS! PLEASE POST YOUR NEW PROMPTS HERE, IN POST 2! Do continue to fill prompts here but please put all new prompts in Post 2.

This post will remain open for new prompts until we hit 4000 comments, at which point we'll open a new one to avoid captcha as long as possible. New fills and comments on fills will always be welcome.
How to Prompt
Prompts should be one prompt per comment, formatted in this way: fandom, character(s), prompt word/sentence
Example: Star Wars, Obi-Wan Kenobi, I don't like sand
Prompts may also be open ended, unspecific, or anthropomorphic, such as:
any, any, I don't like sand
or
Earth geography, sand, I don't like humans very much, either
Prompts for relationships are welcome; a / is used for romantic/sexual relationships and an & for platonic. A prompt that uses both means the relationship can be written as either romantic or platonic, such as:
Star Wars, Anakin/&Obi-Wan, I don't like sand
Prompts may be repeated if they are unfilled; there is no obligation to read through every prompt to make sure yours isn't a repeat. This year's 3SF will stay open for new prompts through Sunday, February 12th.
How to Fill
Respond to your chosen prompt with a short fic of three sentences containing the fandom & characters requested!
Prompts can be filled more than once, as many times as someone has a new idea for them.
Notes & Rules
No, fills do not need to be exactly three sentences! It's more of a guideline. Please abuse grammar and punctuation as much as desired.
3SF is a Choose Not to Warn space. Spoiler and content warnings are not required, though writers are free to add them if they please. If you see something you don't like, just scroll until you do!
A Dreamwidth account is not needed to participate. Anonymous prompts/fills are welcome, or you can use Open ID.
Cross-posting is encouraged; there is a 3SF Collection on AO3 if you'd like to post fills there as well.
Note that the comm is searchable! Tick the 'include comments' button when searching to easily find prompts for your chosen fandom/characters.
And most importantly, have fun! If you have questions, check the Sticky Info post and if they're not answered there, head to the Contact the Mods post.

Preserve me from a winter wonderland (Homestuck)
"You went out gathering frogs in the ice on LOFAF in a sleeveless evening gown," Dave protested (somewhat hypocritically, Jade thought, given his own sweater and hat, though he'd forgone gloves and legwarmers); "What makes this different from that?"
"Physics isn't real in the Medium -- none of those planets should have had normal gravity, the light sources don't make any sense, and let's not even get into how my shrinking powers worked -- so obviously the temperatures were all fake too," Jade said as she idly kicked her well-padded foot into Dave's shin; "Real ice and snow are terrible, and the minute we're organized enough to start a second town, you and me are moving to the equator where we don't need any of these workarounds to be warm."

Flight to You (with a cameo crossover with Cabin Pressure)
Being grounded and unable to take off due to a snowstorm in St. Petersburg in December was a test of friendship and creativity both, as Cheng Xiao and Song Song wandered aimlessly around the airport looking for ways to kill time. Song Song, for some reason, had taken the blizzard outside as a cue to shop for overpriced airport merch sweaters for Xia Zhi and annoying Cheng Xiao in the process by holding up every specimen, each more expensive than the last, and asking if Cheng Xiao thought Xia Zhi would like this.
When Cheng Xiao finally abandoned Song Song in the shop to settle on a seat by their gate, to watch a flight attendant of another airline in the next gate over juggling a truly astonishing mountain of Toblerones, she wondered if by the time they were allowed to board their plane (whenever that was…), whether she’d have to recalculate the fuel requirements for the flight, as it was looking like Song Song was liable to buy out the whole shop’s inventory of expensive sweaters, thereby increasing the weight of the cargo on board by quite a bit.
Leverage, Parker/Eliot/Hardison, Wrong Precipitation
Hardison pulled her into a hug. "I know, babe. I'm sorry."
Parker burrowed into his soft sweater and continued to pout. "We should steal his weather license. He doesn't deserve it."
"Pretty sure the Channel 12 meteorologist doesn't actually control the weather, otherwise I'm sure he'd have made sure we got snow." Hardison rubbed her back. "Tell you what, why don't we go ask Eliot to make some hot chocolate? That always cheers you up."
She did like hot chocolate. "With peppermint and marshmallows?"
"All the marshmallows you can eat."
Parker grinned and kissed his cheek. "Well, it's not snow, but it's the next best thing."
NO I am not bitter about the lack of snow, why do you ask
Re: Leverage, Parker/Eliot/Hardison, Wrong Precipitation
This is very cute, though. ♡ Steal his weather license indeed. X'D
Doctor Who, The Doctor & The Master (& a companion)
"Just put the sweater on," the Doctor insists, attempting to shove a very cosy-looking sweater over the Master's head, but only succeeding in getting them both tangled up, "you'll be much warmer and much less annoying."
