Three Sentence Ficathon

(This is an AU where Time Lords can walk on water I guess? I dunno it's just vibes.)

He tried not to walk on water where humans could see, he really did--he was aware of how it looked, promise! That, and he could still remember the first time he had landed on Earth and, enraptured with the place, unwitting, trying to reunite a pair of terrified children separated by a fear of water he didn't fully understand, had held a screaming girl's hand and stepped out onto a river.

It was always awkward to explain, really put a whole religious lens on things that he wasn't particularly comfortable with, but at the same time, the clock was ticking and he could see his screwdriver where it had landed just on the other side of the choppy waters.
