Words were hard, sometimes, especially when it came to emotions; any Uchiha could tell you that, if they told you anything without their highly nuanced "hn" system. So instead of saying those three little words - so simple but so hard to get out of his throat - Madara turned to actions when he wanted to show his care, and the small ritual of brewing a pot of tea came easily.

He set the pot down on the one free corner of Tobirama's desk, poured the first cup for him, and set it next to his love's hand; Tobirama, as tight-lipped as Madara himself, thanked him with a small smile and a kiss.
