Now that Sarah's home, she Sees magic everywhere and most of it is completely unrelated to the labyrinth where she battled for her brother. Now the thunderstorms splatter rainbow colors onto the streets where the raindrops fall and the cracks of thunder carry the ringing sound of hammers; a tiny silver dragon lives in the gym and brings Sarah gossip in exchange for fish; an old man in a blue hat with no face nonetheless stares at Sarah until she throws salt at him and he backs away, hissing.

Sarah picks up Toby and sets out to see it all.
