Yama twined his fingers with Harlock's own, callused and cold, and drew him out to the newly-restored garden.

Watching the shock rise on Harlock's scarred, dour face - then fade into the light clarity of joy, tears welling in his remaining eye, as he takes in the garden, absolutely filled with night-blooming flowers. . .

Yama stepped in close, heart fluttering as the vampire wound an arm around him - almost clinging in a needy embrace - feeling Harlock's muffled sob and wondering how anyone could think of this man as an uncaring monster.
