Three Sentence Ficathon

Another argument, one that was quickly ruining their coffee date and would have seen each of them leave the cafe separately had it not been for one of the cafe’s cats that happened to jump up onto the table.

Hashirama couldn’t help but smile as it meowed in his face, tail swishing towards Kakuzu and giving him an unpleasant view of it’s backside that he looked away from.

Across the table Hashirama’s anger seemed to evaporate as he gave the cat scratches and pats all while talking sweetly to it, and the longer Kakuzu watched, he found his own anger fading.

“Refill?” Kakuzu asked as he reached for the empty mug.

Hashirama smiled at him and nodded. “I bet you’d like me to do this to you when we get home, wouldn’t you?”

“I’m not a cat!” Kakuzu growled as he snatched up the mug to go get Hashirama another cup of tea, and maybe one for himself.
