Shaw is forced to hold still as Samaritan’s team hacks her mind, riffling through memories. She leads them down as many stray paths as she can as they open each file in her memory and tear it apart, searching for something they can use against her, and they catch the one she’s been trying so hard to hide, break through the steel wall enforced with an electric fence of criss-crossed wires she’s built around it. Her blood stops cold as Samaritan’s fist closes around the snapshot of her and Root’s kiss from the stock exchange.
