"You look lovely, my dear." Ivy said, examining his lover's wings with a smile - they were so much bigger than they looked when folded along his slender body.

"I'm itchy!" Stanislav snapped, feathers bristling, and Ivy didn't bother to hide his laughter, even as it earned him a sharp glare and a little displeased hiss.

"All right, all right," Ivy soothed, waving his hands calmingly, then putting his cigarette in his mouth and reaching for Stanislav's nearer wing, "come here and I'll help you wash all the blood out before it gets any drier, all right?"
