How to Prompt

Prompts should be one prompt per comment, formatted in this way: fandom, character(s), prompt word/sentence

Example: Star Wars, Obi-Wan Kenobi, I don't like sand

Prompts may also be open ended, unspecific, or anthropomorphic, such as:

any, any, I don't like sand
or
Earth geography, sand, I don't like humans very much, either

Prompts for relationships are welcome; a / is used for romantic/sexual relationships and an & for platonic. A prompt that uses both means the relationship can be written as either romantic or platonic, such as:

Star Wars, Anakin/&Obi-Wan, I don't like sand

Prompts may be repeated if they are unfilled; there is no obligation to read through every prompt to make sure yours isn't a repeat. This year's 3SF will stay open for new prompts through Sunday, February 12th.

Respond to your chosen prompt with a short fic of three sentences containing the fandom & characters requested!

Yeah, I heard a couple of them last summer too, but I only listened once or twice so as not to spoil myself on the live versions! I think a lot of the tour gaps might be filled in with festival dates? It was oddly sparse. I'm also super curious to see what they have planned for Weird Goodbyes, since they mentioned it having an upcoming 'new home'!

Wanted (Kingyou-hime; Keisuke/Kingyou-kun)

"I- I never thought anyone would want me!" Kin sobs in his arms, and Keisuke feels a little helpless, but- What else can he do?

"I. . . I will always want you," Keisuke said quietly, holding Kin a little tighter, and relaxes just a bit as Kin's tears are joined by giggles, his wet face tucked against Keisuke's throat, "my pretty, sweet Kin-chan." He runs his fingers through Kin's long hair, falling in silken waves around them. "How could I not?"

Mushi-ken (Naruto; Sannin, Dan, Sakumo)

"Ha! Concede defeat!" Tsunade shouted, surging up onto her knees and snatching up a pillow as though she might smother Jiraiya with it; Orochimaru had eeled gracefully out of the way, but was collapsed in a heap, laughing.

"And these," Dan said, lips twitching, as he bounced Kakashi gently in his arms, "are the legendary Sannin. . ."

Sakumo grinned, ruffling his son's hair and giving a fond look towards his mate and the tangle that would probably soon be a brawl, rather than a simple hand game played by friends while drinking.

Averted (CATS; Tugger/Misto)

"Hmph," Misto resettled his front paws, looking out from the overhang sheltering them from the rain, "it's miserable out there today."

"Only if we go out there." Tugger pointed out reasonably, purring as he settled down alongside his mate, nuzzling his ear and beginning to wash the few droplets of rain away from his neck and head.

Misto shifted restlessly, but slowly relaxed under his mate's affection, melting into Tugger's warmth and his thick coat, the sound of the falling rain fading into the background as he drifted.

Finally Home (Naruto; Kakashi/Naruto/Sakura (part of my 'Kakashi's' series)) - omegaverse

"Whyyy did we have to go without alpha?" Naruto whined, clinging to Sakura's back and nuzzling her shoulder; at least they'd parted ways with the four other members of their temporary team already - and they were nearly home - but. . .

Well, Sakura couldn't blame him, even as she patiently reminded him they had been undercover at an omega-only onsen; it had been tiresome, and she had missed their mate as much as he - they weren't used to taking missions without him, let alone long ones, but as skilled as he was, there was . . . no way Kakashi could pass himself off as an omega, not for so much as an evening, let alone weeks.

Now, however . . . Naruto released her and bounded ahead, but Sakura was already picking up speed herself, and they slipped through the gate together, laughing as they reached Kakashi and tumbled across the grass just shy of the engawa together; Kakashi was lean and solid and familiar as he drew them in close, his own laughter flavoured with an affectionate rumble.

Oh yeah, I was wondering the same about that song! I guess we'll find out in time, same with the tour dates. My thinking is they're either waiting to announce more dates or avoiding touring in July when most festivals are happening and people will already be busy *hands*. I just really want to see them and my tour buddies and none of the current dates work for me.

Pack Bonds (Teen Wolf; Lydia, Stiles (Sterek))

"What are you doing?" Lydia demanded point-blank, eyes on Stiles' face rather than the web of threads - of bonds - wound between his fingers.

He grinned, gesturing for her to sit without disturbing the weaving he was working, all of it sparking faintly in the back of his mind with magic and emotion, and she huffed, but did so, crossing her legs and raising her eyebrows, awaiting an explanation.

Stiles pinched the gold-brown thread that meant 'Scott' in his mind and tugged it a little aside as he thought of where to begin, lacing Scott snugly between his own red and Melissa's soft blue and Allison's deep forest (hunter, Stiles thought with a twist that was half amusement and half unease) green, then shifting his attention and his fingers to smooth Derek's electric blue - problematically kinked and stubborn - and draw it tight with his own thread.

Trapped and Held (Naruto; Madara/Tobirama)

"I . . . I'm so tired of all of . . . this." Madara closed his eyes, shaking his head, then startled as strong fingers curled around his wrists, pushing him backwards; he let himself be moved, looking up.

"Then let go," Tobirama said, crimson eyes almost glowing with intensity that made Madara's breath catch, "I've got you." he almost growled the promise, and Madara shivered and arched, pushing thoughtlessly against Tobirama's pin and almost moaning as he hit the end of it, trapped and held beneath his lover.

Grim Promises (Naruto; Madara/Tobirama)

"Don't say it like it's so easy!" Madara snapped, turning away, only to be caught by an arm around his waist; he twisted to slip it, and found his own motion turned against him, bringing him back in a dizzying whirl leave him pinned flat on the futon with his lover kneeling over him.

"I will survive this war," Tobirama said fiercely, eyes brilliant and narrow, grip tight, "and so will your obnoxious brother, and so will you, saiai. We will come out of this alive and bring this idiocy to an end."

Madara's breath hitched, but he found it almost impossible to disbelieve Tobirama when he spoke like that, his chakra wild like the ferocity of a leashed storm and his voice as sure as though the world itself would bow to his will.

Death and Daring (Naruto; Madara/Tobirama)

"It's- It's all right," Madara choked out the words, blood and river water spilling over his chin, and Tobirama swallowed a keen, holding him tighter, "it would have killed me all the same . . . leaving you, leaving. . ."

"Madara, don't you dare-" Tobirama's voice broke, and he flared his chakra again, trying to knit Madara's failing body back into a functioning whole.

"Dare?" Madara laughed, broken and breathless, making his body jerk, and Tobirama sank lower on his knees in the little tributary where Madara's battle with his brother had- had ended. "A little late for that, my love."

Your Humiliating Grace

“Perhaps we should have practiced the fight scene a bit more,” Peter admitted, rubbing his hand through the sunshine of his hair, noting the heat that lingered still on the back of his neck (not to mention his cheeks - the top set only, thank you very much), “but I confess, I never expected to end up on stage in the altogether, so to speak!”

“Costumers these days - never would have happened under Mrs Beaver’s watch,” Ed muttered, while Lucy, ever helpful, put in, “Two Duchesses and a pageboy fainted!”

Susan’s eyes were sparkling at his expense a bit too much, Peter noted as he turned to her, asking, “Tell me truly, Su - was it that bad?” only to be met with a smirk, and the barely suppressed giggles in his sister’s voice as she said, “Not all bad - I do believe the lady next to me declared it magnificent, brother dear.”

Earned Hatred (Castlevania; Sypha)

Sypha smiled as another uneasy farmer spat insults and scurried away, sheltering behind their skinny priest. She packed up the last of her belongings and trotted off to follow her grandfather, feeling her magic curl around her in a lilting, tempting song.

So God hated Speakers? Sypha would grow up and earn that hatred, would follow her own magic and her own way.

Waving You On

Sometimes, he thinks he still has her, just for a moment; those times when he sees her from the corner of his eye, tall and proud, crowned in a wreath of her own hair; almost, he turns to her, and takes her in his arms, and buries his face in the curve of her neck, to whisper in her ear about the days when she wandered his rooms, clad only in the glory of that unloosed hair, the dark silky veil of it like a shadow under his hands.

And then he turns, and his sister is teenaged once more, coltish and skinny, all sharp angles, from the jut of her ankles to the edges of her hair, curling up at the length of her pert chin.

“Ed, darling, do cheer up,” she says, brushing by, pressing a quick kiss to his cheek, as though he’s a child too, “you look like someone’s died,” and he can’t catch her hand quickly enough to make her pause, can’t explain how true her aim still is.

I meant to make this fit more explicitly with the prompt...it's metaphorical music, okay??

Stranger Things; Eddie/Steve

Afterward, Eddie grows quiet as he and Steve settle down for sleep, his mind a riot of thoughts, none of them good. Why should Eddie ‘The Freak’ Munson think that the former most popular guy at Hawkins High would want him for anything other than exploring a curiosity or scratching an itch?

“Stop overthinking it,” Steve mumbles sleepily against his shoulder. “I’m not going to regret anything except not telling you sooner.”

Audiences agree: Peter's dick is magnificient -- a fabulous joke, i'm dying. It brought down the house and literally three people, that dick has its own body count and i am HERE FOR IT. I love how he's hot and sheepish afterward? i am so weak for this man. I hope some girl caught his trousers and wears them around her neck leaving the theatre.
