How to Prompt

Prompts should be one prompt per comment, formatted in this way: fandom, character(s), prompt word/sentence

Example: Star Wars, Obi-Wan Kenobi, I don't like sand

Prompts may also be open ended, unspecific, or anthropomorphic, such as:

any, any, I don't like sand
or
Earth geography, sand, I don't like humans very much, either

Prompts for relationships are welcome; a / is used for romantic/sexual relationships and an & for platonic. A prompt that uses both means the relationship can be written as either romantic or platonic, such as:

Star Wars, Anakin/&Obi-Wan, I don't like sand

Prompts may be repeated if they are unfilled; there is no obligation to read through every prompt to make sure yours isn't a repeat. This year's 3SF will stay open for new prompts through Sunday, February 12th.

How to Fill

Respond to your chosen prompt with a short fic of three sentences containing the fandom & characters requested!

Prompts can be filled more than once, as many times as someone has a new idea for them.

No, fills do not need to be exactly three sentences! It's more of a guideline. Please abuse grammar and punctuation as much as desired.

3SF is a Choose Not to Warn space. Spoiler and content warnings are not required, though writers are free to add them if they please. If you see something you don't like, just scroll until you do!

A Dreamwidth account is not needed to participate. Anonymous prompts/fills are welcome, or you can use Open ID.

From atop the Giant's Lance she can take the falcon's view of her lands, tracing her life's path in the ridges and dips below - the high crag where the Stone Crows killed her father and brothers, just north of the river against whose banks she'd trapped her almost-usurper cousin and ended his ambitions, which tumbled into the lush green valley full of swaying wheat, where Jeyne could just barely see the small lake where she'd first promised Jessamyn her love.

The howling mountain winds wax and wane like the Vale itself is breathing, and when Jeyne breathes with them she can fancy that she and the very spirit of the Vale have become one.

It was absolutely pouring outside, droplets of rain tapped and slid down the windows and slammed against the roof of the attic. Eiji and Hina looked outside the window, taking in the sounds of the rain while Ankh was scrolling around on his iPhone as per usual.

"It's relaxing." Hina smiled as she looked up towards the sky.

Eiji nodded with a grin of his own, "Yeah." It was really nice... Having this quiet moment between the three of them.

As if on cue, that silence ended as Ankh scoffed. Looking up from his phone from up on his perch, "I don't get what you humans find so relaxing about this."

Hina stormed right on over, "You never like anything!" Promptly flicking Ankh on the nose.

"Oi!" Ankh sneered right at Hina. He almost reached out to bite her for that, but after a moment of consideration he simply rolled his eyes and scoffed again. Turning to the side as he went back to his iPhone.

Some things never change.

Make me your wife, Daemon thinks as they lock eyes in the middle of the hall, his hands on Rhaenyra’s face like he can’t let her go. Someone shouts and Daemon barely hears it; the room is erupting in commotion and all Daemon can do is grab her hand and take her away.

Make me your wife, Daemon thinks as they fly through the air, Rhaenyra’s hands around his waist, Caraxes beneath him. She yelled and cursed when he tossed her upon his dragon but Daemon will not risk parting from her even just for this; Syrax can make her way behind.

Make me your wife, Daemon thinks as she throws her head back, her hands digging crescent marks into his chest, her legs astride his hips. The wind is howling and the waves crashing outside the walls of Dragonstone and somehow Daemon can hear Viserys denouncing him all the way in King’s Landing but he can’t care.
